Todd For East Pierce Fire & Rescue Commissioner Pos 7

Todd McKellips, is a social entrepreneur, philanthropist, chaplain and family man. “What do you not do?” Is something he hears quite often! He is a compassionate advocate for people living in poverty, as he has seen homelessness firsthand after a traumatic back injury with Pierce County Sheriff Department in 2005.

I’m running for Fire Commissioner not only to serve myself but empower the community to do so as well.

Todd McKellips

It would be an honor to serve as Fire commissioner for East Pierce Position 7. I am looking forward to using my knowledge as a former Firefighter, chaplain and entrepreneur to ensure budgets are sustainable and most of all that our unsung heroes are taken care of. I have lost a few close friends due to the dangers of the job and It is my utmost desire to see our EMT’s and Firefighters achieve long happy lives in fire service and after. During the Fires in 2020 we nearly had to evacuate our home as well as hundreds of neighbors. We truly appreciate everything our firefighters do everyday from responding to medical calls, working with the homeless to putting out massive brush fires.

I am fully trained in all forms of Crisis response and emergency management and worked for the US dept with FEMA in a law enforcement capacity for nearly 10 years. With twenty-seven years of entrepreneur experience in business and decision making, I believe I’m fully qualified to represent you in this role. I reside in the Alderton area and have been living in the great Northwest most of my life. I look forward to serving my community and appreciate your vote!
